. A House Blessing is a ritual of cleansing and purification of the physical, mental and spiritual bodies. Each person, animal, rock, plant, home, has an auric field which can capture negative energy. If this energy is not cleansed, it can create illness for its owner. The sacred smoke of sage and chanting provides centering, balancing, soothing and cleansing positive ions that bond with the negative ions that have collected in an etheric field. What is felt as “negative energy” is thus neutralized. This causes a cleansing within the etheric realm that penetrates to the physical level.
